The Trans Care Community Training Project
The Trans Care Community Training Project aims to strengthen the infrastructure of care for Black queer and trans community members through promoting gender-affirming care training and continuing education, with specific focus on increasing the number of qualified trans-competent healthcare professionals equipped and readily available regionally and nationally to administer gender-affirming surgery assessments. This initiative provides no-cost training opportunities in the mental health and greater medical provider community at various times throughout the year.
